Been looking at these composite intake manifolds and was wondering if anyone had tried one with E-85. Didn't know if 30 degrees cooler intake charge would have a negative effect on a fuel that already runs much cooler than gas. Hate to spend that kind of money and have no improvement for some unforseen reason. Brian

Performed great on my 406 until a mild cough through the intake while cranking the cold engine pulled the throttle body inserts loose. There is not much material holding them in place, trust me.. It cost me a shortblock since my EZ-EFI recognized the vacuum leak and instantly hit the 7000rpm rev limiter when it fired up. Broke multiple ring lands. Oil leaks on the rear China wall were a problem until they figured out which adhesive would stick to it also. I had the intake off 4 times before i got the leak stopped. It was DEFINITELY NOT worth the time or money in my case. AFR replaced the spider and i immediately sold the intake.
