I am having some trouble getting converting over to e85. I bought a used like new quick fuel 850cfm carb. I have a 436” sbc in my pro street nova that ran great on gas but I didn’t want to pay the extra $$ for race fuel. I got two barrels of e85 race fuel (tested to be exactly e85). My problem is between 2000-3000 rpm the car pops a lot out of the exhaust. I’ve adjusted the air bleeds all over the place and it seems to clear up a little at 1/2 turn out but never goes away completely. It seemed that would be way too lean considering 1.5-2 turns out is a good starting point usually. Is running them lean like that over compensating for another issue I am having? The car seems like it doesn’t run quite as hard anymore either but runs out smoothly. Also I’m running ngk 7 plugs and timing locked out at 36 degrees advanced. Just puzzled as to where I should go next to get this thing tip top! Thanks
